AI will soon be part of nearly every decision, task, and workflow. How it is built, and who it is built for, will shape whether it becomes a source of relief or a source of pressure. Today, the most capable systems are concentrated among those with the most resources, and much of what reaches everyone else asks more of people than it gives back. We think both are design choices, not inevitabilities.

We believe the most useful intelligence will not live in isolated prompts or sessions. It will persist, understand context, learn over time, and work alongside people with increasing agency. Systems like this carry real responsibility. They must be reliable, understandable, and built so that people stay in control.

Democratizing AI means more than access. It means AI that is useful, affordable, and safe for people without a technical team behind them.

The teacher, the nurse, and the small business owner deserve the same leverage as the largest enterprise.

AI should reduce the load people carry, not add to it.

Safety and usefulness are not in tension. Trust is what allows AI to take on meaningful work.

We research how persistent, context-aware systems should behave, and we turn what we learn into products people use every day. Each product is a step toward making capable AI available to everyone, and a way to earn trust through what we ship.
